The Mbegu Master is currently filed as a Provisional Patent under the USPTO. The USPTO and Kenya Industrial Property Institute Non-Provisional Patents are pending, but the entirety of the device and any related files are licensible under the CERN Open Hardware License. The following zip file contains the STL and STEP files for printing of the Mbegu Master. To modify them, use Autodesk Fusion 360 or other similar software. To print them, please use a MakerBot 3D Printer, or other similar additive manufacturing tool. You are also free to modify this product under the terms outlined above, and manufacture and produce copies according to the rules theirin. Please enjoy!
Use PETG 3D Printing filament to print each of the bodies separately, asides from the end plug.
Use TPU 3D Printing filament to print the end plug.
Assemble them as shown in the diagram below.
Fill the device with seeds of your choice and use a 20cm diameter hose clamp and strip of inner tubing to secure the end plug in place.
Select either neither or one of the two screw-on seed guages to control the outflow of seeds.
Use 2 more 20cm diameter hose clamps to secure the device to a jembe/hoe as shown in the diagram below.
